All therapists are trained to treat anxiety and fears. Anxiety can be the primary problem or secondary to other problems. If the anxiety is of recent origin, we will use cognitive behavioral techniques to help you reduce its frequency and intensity. If the anxiety is life-long, we will examine your life history and current life situation and help you to develop better coping skills.

Anxiety is a very common occurrence and some anxiety can be a good thing. Often, though, we become so full of fear and anxiety to the point that it is debilitating and holding us back from moving forward in our lives in meaningful ways. It can get in the way of our ability to feel confident and connect with others. I enjoy work with individuals to help them discover what is, versus what could be and to reprogram their minds to be present and available.
