Alice Bernstein Practice Description
My practice is composed of working adults whom I see either individually or as a couple. I am particularly interested in working with individuals who want to change long term problems in interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, and mood regulation. My background includes training and experience in both teaching and using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavior therapy, psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapy, client centered counseling, and family systems theory. Biological factors that influence mental functioning are a special interest of mine. I am a graduate of the Core Program in Adult Psychoanalysis of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis.
