Through therapy and targeted interventions, we work towards enhancing emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. Ongoing support is integral to their journey towards stability and improved well-being.
With my years of experience as a therapist, I've worked with clients who have BPD. They often need help dealing with their intense relationships, mood swings, and identity struggles. I support them by raising awareness about their condition and developing coping strategies that fit them personally. We focus on skills like handling emotions, getting along with others, dealing with tough times, and staying grounded until they can manage their symptoms better, feel better overall, and have a clearer sense of who they are despite life's ups and downs.
Rick has a good understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder. These traits often mean trauma is involved. Rick does have experience in DBT. Rick would still use a holistic approach with BPD in combination with DBT as mindfulness is important in both approaches. Rick is becoming certified in IREST which can help with the reactivity of emotions that comes with BPD.
