As a member and ally of the community myself, I understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. Whether you're navigating issues related to coming out, identity exploration, relationship dynamics, or mental health concerns, I offer a safe and understanding space to explore these topics openly and authentically.
I am a Certified World Professional Association for Transgender Health Care (WPATH) GEI SOC7 Member. I have extensive training, research, and clinical experience working with transgender and gender-diverse youth, adults, and families.
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I strive to foster a sense of safety and healing. There is often a great deal of intersectionality within coping with chronic health issues and stressors. Recognizing the importance of honoring all aspects of the individual is a goal in creating a balanced and cohesive sense of self.
When bias and discrimination are part of a person's problems, I show them how not to anger themselves and then how to address the prejudice and discrimination constructively. In cases where people are shameful about their sexuality, I teach them how to unconditionally accept themselves and never to shame themselves for who they are and what they like both sexually and non-sexually.
