Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Helps clients challenge and replace irrational beliefs. It is an action-oriented approach for lasting change.
Approach Description: I was trained by Dr. Albert Ellis and practice Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. This is a distinct and pioneering form of cognitive behavior therapy. I actively teach people effective ways to think and respond to the obstacles they encounter.

I am a clinical psychologist who works at the medical school of the University of Pennsylvania. My private practice is in Rittenhouse Square. I will show you how to control your emotions & counterproductive behavior. I teach new ways of thinking to take control of what is well within your control. I will send you emails between sessions to encourage you to work at your therapy & to solve your problems today rather than at some point in the future.
I get to the bottom of your problems efficiently. I will give you useful feedback from the first session. REBT was created by the famous Dr. Albert Ellis, who I worked with for many years. This therapy is the original form of cognitive behavior therapy and has important differences from commonly practiced CBT therapy.
