Dissociative disorder is the result of a traumatic experience that leaves a person unable to function properly. Dissociative disorder helps a person to survive an assault, rape and/or incest and other major traumatic experiences such as war and natural disaster. I work PTSD using a technique in recalling the traumatic experience. It again asked courage as it is a painful process. That's why I complemented this process with EFT and Energy Healing to ease the process. When dissociative disorder was a way to survive a trauma it comes a time where it interrupts the day to day functioning.
