Sam Naimi
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, Psychotherapist, Psychoanalytic Candidate
My name is Sam, and I'm a psychoanalytic therapist who is passionate about helping adults and teens navigate life's complexities. Whether you're an adult seeking deeper understanding of yourself or a young person embarking on your journey, I offer a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth.
My approach is rooted in psychoanalysis and depth psychology, which delves into the unconscious mind. We'll work together to uncover patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be shaping your current challenges. This can include chronic behaviors, relationship difficulties, or simply a feeling of being stuck.
The therapeutic process can be quirky and surprising, just like life itself! I believe in fostering a collaborative environment where humor and curiosity can be powerful tools for self-discovery. But at its core, my practice is built on empathy and a genuine desire to see you thrive.

Sarah Farnsworth
Pre-Licensed Professional, MFA, RPS
In life, we travel through the present moment while simultaneously being influenced by the past. At times this may feel confusing, jumbled, frightening or damn-near impossible.
Who am I? What am I doing? Where am I going?
These are just some of the questions we ask ourselves -- the ones that keep us up at night. While I cannot answer these questions for you, through Psychoanalysis I can offer you the space to explore these deep questions and support you through your journey into yourself -- with all its twists and turns.
This is a collaborative process. Together we will take the plunge into your history, wade through experiences and relationship dynamics that have shaped your world, and dream of new possibilities and potentials that have until now remained out of reach.
Psychoanalysis is not easy, but nothing that touches the soul is. To quote Neville Symington, "Psychoanalysis is not for the person who has had a breakdown and just wants to start functioning again, because as the analysis proceeds he may have to revise his whole life and alter it radically. I think that psychoanalysis is for those who have a curiosity about life, but also wish to live it inwardly" (from The Psychoanalytic Experience).
If you wish to explore yourself in-depth and exist as your truest self, I invite you to contact me. I am accepting Clients virtually and in-person in Los Angeles, California.

Susan Stone
Marriage and Family Therapist, M.A., Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I work with adults from every walk of life and in diverse circumstances. The common thread: things don't feel manageable anymore. Life has gotten out of hand, and feelings like anxiety, self-doubt, depression, and disappointment seem to be taking over – if they haven’t already. Some might think they are “going crazy!” Others feel selfish because they crave self-care and a break from never being enough.
My job (and privilege) is to come alongside you to provide support, feedback, and help you better understand things and make plans to improve things. Sometimes, I will validate feelings that you’ve discounted or point out challenges you’ve grown so accustomed to that you brush them aside, even though they are part of what trips you up. Together, we’ll gain perspectives and insights about how to make things better.
Sessions will be via telehealth (live video). While it can take a little getting used to for those accustomed to in-person sessions, the ease of access and being in a space that is familiar and comfortable goes a long way to make up for the distance. Many find that having ready access to their online notes and journals, screen sharing, and the ability to look up information together in session provides extra benefits. As for rapport and connectedness, video therapy doesn’t need to impede these critical features of the therapeutic relationship.
In session, we will review the week for clues about what to focus on. We will talk about how things went and how they could have turned out better. I’ll ask many questions, listen a lot, and work with you to identify options for improving life. You’ll tear up sometimes, but you’ll be surprised how often we chuckle.

Since the advent of the Covid pandemic all sessions have been through teletherapy - either video or phone. While the initial motivator is protection of our physical health, the practice provides increased accessibility and convenience for clients.
