I believe the human spirit is incredibly resilient and we all have the innate capacity to heal--I don't view mental health struggles as a sign of defect or "disorder," but rather a signal of unmet basic needs for love, attention, acceptance, and compassion.

Treatment Approach
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
- Transpersonal Therapy Integrates spirituality and higher states of consciousness with psychology. It encourages growth beyond the individual self.

I take a non-pathologizing approach when working with my clients--that is, our goal in therapy is not to figure out what is "wrong" with you, but to understand what happened to you and how that influences who you are today. Just like humans are multifaceted, our therapeutic work will be holistic, pulling from several therapeutic orientations including psychodynamic, somatic, person-centered, and gestalt. Our work together will help you learn to live from a place of authenticity through cultivating your self-reflective curiosity, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.
I strive to meet every client where they're currently at and always aim to show up authentically myself--even though we are doing deep and important work together, it's important to not take ourselves too seriously (and we may even laugh along the way!). When I'm not in client sessions, you can find me learning more about psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, going on a run with my mini-Australian Shepherd pup, or listening to some pop-punk music (MGK, Taking Back Sunday, & Brand New are among my faves).
