Tracy L. Morris
Marriage and Family Therapist, MS, LMFT
I've been serving clients for 8 years by video & phone sessions. In addition to health-related concerns, remote teletherapy can be just the right step for some other life situations.
If you've never seen a counselor by video or phone before, your related concerns are understandable. In counseling, the term we use is "fit" -- describes when a particular counselor & setting feel 'just right' for you.

Dr. Abrielle Conway, Rooted in Grace Psychological Services
Psychologist, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist
I'm accepting telehealth (online) clients in most states via PSYPACT, an interjurisdictional practice compact which facilitates greater access to specialized care. I use a HIPAA compliant electronic health record in order to protect your privacy. We can meet anywhere you have privacy, feel safe to be yourself, and have a reliable internet connection. This often involves meeting in the comfort of your home, a (non-moving) vehicle, or your place of employment. I've found that online therapy allows increased flexibility/convenience and reduces time and resources spent driving to and from an office location. If you have questions about meeting via telehealth, I'm happy to answer them in our initial consultation.

Sumer Statler Aeed
Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist
With technology, you can experience all the benefits of in-person therapy on secure, easy-to-use, high-quality internet platforms. Online sessions allow you to do therapy in the comfort of your own home or allow you flexibility in environments that best suit you. It can be especially helpful to those who find it challenging to travel to an office for appointments due to location, work, children at home, lifestyle, or other practical or personal reasons.
While there are multiple ways that counseling can take place online, I work primarily with face-to-face video conferencing via Zoom and, on occasion, telephone sessions.
I always hold my sessions in a quiet and confidential space, giving you the same confidentiality & professionalism that you experience within an office setting.
Most, if not all, of my clients, find virtual sessions to be highly effective and convenient. They allow for the comfort and safety of therapy in your own space, and no travel time is often less vulnerable than needing to go to an office. Research of multiple studies finds that online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most cases. That being said I always advocate for what works best for each individual and it is wonderful to have choices to find your best path whichever that may be.
If you are not super-computer savvy or are anxious about how to use technology, I will work to make it as seamless as possible. I have chosen a platform that is easy to use and I am happy to assist you with any questions or concerns.
A common concern I hear from clients regarding online therapy is finding a quiet and/or confidential space when you’re homebound with children and/or family members or roommates. Be sure and scope this out in advance so you are guaranteed quiet and privacy during your session.
Since it is so convenient many times people forget to allow themselves a few minutes to "switch hats" and allow themselves a few breaths and get settled into being present and in the head/body space for your session.
Headphones or Airpods can often make audio clearer or ensure more privacy but are not necessary.
Given that video sessions can be conducted on your smartphone, clients have found it helpful to go to a park, sit in their car in the driveway, and/or walk around your neighborhood. Get creative and support yourself. Find a private space that allows you to receive support no matter where you are.
You are welcome to have pets join your space if you find that comforting, and supporting, and you may see my fellow feline/canine therapists join in one of our sessions on my end.

Rachel Glover
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC
We work together to identify and reach goals. This space is collaborative, non-judgmental, moving at your pace. This involves self-compassion, observation of self-talk, engaging in reframing. Skill building is also identified and practiced, both in session and between sessions. We will discuss what you connect with, may identify patterns and talk about what shifts may look like. Identifying emotions, validating and holding space for them will also be a part of this journey. I draw from modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as skill use from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
