My training and focus has been on the treatment of mood, anxiety disorders and ADHD. I support children, adolescents and adults who struggle with these disorders across home, school and community settings. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) are applied to treat mood and anxiety disorders. Behavior therapy and executive functioning skills training is used to assist those who struggle with ADHD. In addition to their effectiveness, clients are able to recognize progress in relatively short periods of time.
I also provide psychological evaluations for diagnosing various learning, behavioral and emotional disorders and to determine eligibility for gifted and talented programs. I have several years of experience with using psychological evaluations to diagnose learning disabilities, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety disorders, mood and behavioral disorders. In addition, I provide evaluations for high stakes testing accommodations, including the ACT/SAT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, PCAT and MCAT. I provide these services to individuals, school districts and organizations for employment purposes.
