I approach therapy as easing into interactions in your time, with warmth and understanding. We work together to identify and reach goals. This space is collaborative, non-judgmental, moving at your pace. This involves self-compassion, observation of self-talk, engaging in reframing. Skill building is also identified and practiced, both in session and between sessions. We will discuss what you connect with, may identify patterns and talk about what shifts may look like. Identifying emotions, validating and holding space for them will also be a part of this journey. I draw from modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as skill use from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
