Psychodynamic therapists in Camden, New Jersey NJ
Denise Owen-Fabricius
Psychiatric Nurse/Therapist, MSN, APN
My philosophy is to treat people the way I would want my family or myself treated. I don't like that feeling of being rushed through an appointment and don't want anyone to feel that way with me. I believe laughter can be healing, so when appropriate, I like to infuse some humor into situations. I want you to know that your ideas and thoughts matter. Together we can tackle whatever the issue is. When working with children and teens, involving the parents as much as possible is crucial. Children and teens have a right to privacy, but keeping parents in the dark under the guise of confidentiality does not make for the best care, especially when prescribing medication.
My core values of honesty, integrity, wisdom, and compassion guide my life and my practice. Approaching people with honesty and compassion helps them listen to their own inner wisdom so they can live their lives with integrity and authenticity.

Ryan Ramsey
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC
You have been feeling a lot of strong emotions lately, and fear, worry, and anxiety about your future overwhelm you most of the time. In the past, you've always been able to 'outrun' or 'escape' from your pain - but it just isn't working anymore. This time the pain is too strong, and you know you have to face it. You're tired of running from how you feel anyway. You want to understand yourself and why you feel this way so you can start facing life with more confidence and stop the patterns of avoidance that have held you hostage long enough.
During our work together, we'll slow down, and we'll notice. We'll give your emotions the attention and respect that they - and YOU - deserve. We'll explore what you're going through with curiosity and compassion, uncovering the patterns that you've been stuck in and establishing new ways of relating to yourself, how you feel, and what you want.
I have a lot of hope for you and your future. Your life CAN get better. I encourage you to reach out to me when you're ready. I would be happy to schedule an initial consultation at no cost so we can talk about what you're going through and how I can help. Feel free to email me or visit my website to get started.
