My philosophy is to treat people the way I would want my family or myself treated. I don't like that feeling of being rushed through an appointment and don't want anyone to feel that way with me. I believe laughter can be healing, so when appropriate, I like to infuse some humor into situations. I want you to know that your ideas and thoughts matter. Together we can tackle whatever the issue is. When working with children and teens, involving the parents as much as possible is crucial. Children and teens have a right to privacy, but keeping parents in the dark under the guise of confidentiality does not make for the best care, especially when prescribing medication. My core values of honesty, integrity, wisdom, and compassion guide my life and my practice. Approaching people with honesty and compassion helps them listen to their own inner wisdom so they can live their lives with integrity and authenticity.

Denise Owen-Fabricius Practice Description
My practice is a virtual medication management practice. Pairing therapy & medication to treat depression and/or anxiety can help you feel better faster with an approximately 50- 60% improved rate of recovery. Treatment of ADHD can be life changing, especially for adults who were not diagnosed as children. Improvements in self-esteem, relationships and work can be expected. Children also see improvements in self-esteem, peer relations, school performance and less conflict at home. You can see me for medication management while still working with your current therapist. My focus is treating children, teens & adults with the non-emergency psychiatric issues of ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and OCD. Email to get a call back within 24 hours . Work with someone specially trained to medicate children, adolescents & young adults, someone with years of experience who understands their developmental needs at any given age, someone who can work with your child's school if the need arises, someone who will help you and your child figure out how to overcome whatever obstacle your child is experiencing. My specialty training in children and teens helps me in treating adult disorders that have their origins in childhood.
