As a therapist, my primary mission is to support and motivate you to confront the challenging aspects of your life that are impeding your progress. Concurrently, I aim to help you develop the tools necessary to lead a mentally healthy and purpose-driven existence. I focus on assisting people with ADHD, addiction (specifically cannabis, sex, and alcohol), anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD. Working with people who feel lost or unhappy in their jobs and want to find more meaning and purpose in life.
The methods I commonly use in therapy include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness techniques.
I often begin therapy with two key principles in mind:
1. "You can’t think your way into right action; you have to act your way into right thinking."
2. "There are no shortcuts, yet there are many solutions."
