- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Contemplative Psychotherapy Combines mindfulness and meditation practices with modern psychology. It encourages awareness and compassion as part of the healing process.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.

- If you are unable to pay the full cost of sessions and do not have access to any other funding avenues (benefit plans, etc.), your therapist can work with you to make the sessions more affordable.

REACH believes that both parties in the therapeutic alliance need to be constructive in this process, working together to create long lasting positive change.
Holistic care – Our approach to wellness is fundamentally grounded in seeing and treating the entire person. A holistic wellness approach considers the whole person, not just the mind and at REACH we understand that healing means treating the mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Each individual is unique, which is why the one-size-fits-all method is NOT how REACH approaches mental wellness. With this in mind we collaborate with health professionals from many different disciplines (Naturopaths, Psychiatry, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Behaviourists, Massage therapy, Chiropractic, Alternative Medicine, etc.) in order to provide referrals to other professionals in our community that are thoughtfully delivered on a case by case basis.
