Overly emotional...too soft for your own good...do these judgements sound so familiar? If yes, you have found your tribe! I am passionate about working with individuals whose unique personality traits characterize them as highly sensitive. My clients are highly intuitive and experience life and emotions profoundly. Many of my clients, despite their best efforts, find themselves stuck and struggling with ineffective coping patterns to help manage symptoms from traumatic experiences, anxiety, self-doubt, grief, and loss. I strive to help clients reestablish a flexible and compassionate connection with their inner-most voice while developing skills to weather even the most volatile emotional storm - empowering clients to reclaim the rich and meaningful life they want.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Developmental Therapy Looks at how childhood and developmental experiences affect current challenges. It aims to repair unmet needs and foster healthy growth.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I approach therapy with a practical mindset, incorporating metaphors and a quirky touch of humor. Our sessions are like conversations with a genuine friend. I believe in the healing power of authentic connections and create a warm, supportive environment where clients can feel safe to reflect inward. This allows them to reconnect with their inner strength, embrace discomfort mindfully, and let go of what no longer serves them, enabling them to live more fully. My perspective is rooted in mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion. I strive to be fully present and supportive, helping clients grow and heal. As an EMDRIA-certified therapist, I am dedicated to continuous learning and refining my skills in EMDR therapy, especially in areas like anxiety, grief, loss, chronic pain, and somatic symptoms trauma (PTSD).
