Women's Issues therapists in Agoura, California CA
Rachel Ann Dine
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPCC, LPC
Were you always encouraged to not make waves? Not upset others? Stifle your own needs for the sake of keeping everyone else happy? Maybe after all those years of "playing it safe" and trying to keep everyone happy (which came at the expense of your own peace!), you're ready to explore who you really are and come to peace with not being a people pleaser. I help people-pleasing, sensitive, and caring women learn to identify who you are and what it is you want out of life so you feel confident in setting healthy boundaries, being assertive, and experiencing the freedom that comes with living life in a way that honors you.

Jennie Steinberg - feminist, queer-affirming therapist
Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT, LPCC, PMH-C
I work with clients of all genders from a feminist perspective, which means that we consider the ways in which rigid gender roles and expectations are harmful to everyone. But this is particularly true for women and trans and nonbinary people. Women and female-socialized people are taught to be empathic caretakers, but we forget to make sure to take care of ourselves, and often find that others don't take care of us. We're told we can "have it all" but we're not given supports that make "it all" sustainable or even, perhaps, desirable. So often, if we feel broken, the reality of the situation is that we're perfectly functional, but broken systems are failing us. My feminism is trans-inclusive and conscious of intersectionality. In addition to supporting people who are struggling with these broader issues, I am also a certified perinatal mental health professional.
I bring both my professional background and my lived experience to supporting people with uteruses who are coping with infertility or fertility treatments, pregnancy (including high-risk pregnancy), and the postpartum transition, ranging from identity questions and baby blues to postpartum depression and anxiety. If you feel like you could use some support in the monumental task of "existing while female," reach out. I look forward to meeting you soon!

My practice helps women find their inner voice, strength and agency. Many of my clients are mothers who are experiencing depression or anxiety, relationship challenges, and struggling with the demands that society places upon them - the expectation that they should do it all, and do it all perfectly. Together we will work to find the intuitive guidance and authentic self that lies within, the self that knows you alone are enough.
