Treatment Approach
- Art Therapy Uses creative activities like drawing, painting, or sculpture as a way to express emotions. It is especially helpful when words are hard to find.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Dance / Movement Therapy Uses movement and body awareness to express emotions and improve mental health. It can increase confidence, reduce stress, and support healing.
- Drama Therapy Uses role-play, storytelling, and theater techniques to explore problems and emotions. It helps people practice new ways of relating to others.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Music Therapy Uses music listening, songwriting, or rhythm exercises to support healing. It is effective for stress, emotional expression, and cognitive challenges.
- Play Therapy Uses toys, games, and creative play to help children express emotions. It is especially useful when children can’t fully verbalize their feelings.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: Through all the various art modalities we can dive deeper into our own unique creative process (life is a creative process!). Using painting brings us into a different place than when we write or listen to or create music. Having all of these tools at our fingertips gives us a wide range to play in and allows the work to access us both on conscious and subconscious levels. Also using art is just FUN!

Together, we honor your unique strengths and seek to uncover the layers that may be keeping you apart from your fullest, embodied expression. We co-create a loving and supportive environment for you to overcome fears and tap into the unknown, fostering a greater sense of release and embracing uncertainty as a bridge into adventure.
During our sessions, we combine talk therapy with various creative processes, such as painting, movement, mindfulness, sound, theater, writing, photography, ritual, and yoga practices. You don't need any prior art experience – simply come as you are, and together we will explore the tools that resonate with you.
As a therapist, my style is transparent, flexible, and intuitive. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can freely explore new territories, following your inclinations and allowing yourself to experiment. Let's unveil what is already there ;)
