Depression can result from unfinished business in the past, which seems to threaten current and future success. Sometimes we need someone to just listen to our experiences from our vantage point, without being too eager to fix the issue without first listening to the experience. Catharsis is a powerful tool when employed correctly.

As someone who was diagnosed with depression early on in life, I know how debilitating it can be. The world feels gray, everything seems purposeless and you have little to no energy to do anything. As someone who is successfully managing his depression, I know first hand the tools and modalities that can help bring joy and color back into your life. You may have depression, but it doesn't have to define you. In fact, you can use it as a springboard to get back into life and restore meaning and purpose.

Clinical depression is a very common mood disorder that can affect anyone, yet women are twice as likely to develop depression as men. Contributing factors include reproductive hormones, a differing female response to stress, and social pressures that are unique to a woman’s life experiences.
Depression causes feelings of sadness, helplessness, and worthlessness. Women with depression are likely to lose interest or pleasure in normal activities and may have difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions. Depression can be mild to moderate with symptoms of apathy, little appetite, difficulty sleeping, low self-esteem, and decreased energy or fatigue. Or symptoms can be more severe.
