I am an internationally trained psychotherapist with over 6 years of therapy experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults in India and the Gulf. I believe every person is inherently driven toward and has the capacity for growth when in the right environment. While working together collaboratively, you can expect a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space allowing for self-reflection and self-understanding. I will help you focus and build on your strengths and supports, look at different perspectives, learn skills, and use them to work on yourself and your overall mental health.

Equine Therapy can help individuals and families build confidence, self -efficiency, communication, trust, social skills, impulse control and learn healthy boundary setting. Horses are great therapists because they give immediate feedback. Research shows positive physical and psychological results from humans interacting with horses. These include, but are not limited to , decreased blood pressure and heart rate, lower levels of stress, reduced feelings of tension, anxiety, anger and hostility, as well as increased levels of beta-endorphins, and beneficial feelings of self -esteem, empowerment, patience and trust. Often clients experiencing anxiety and ocd have difficulty relating to other human beings, and will not accept closeness with another, but they will with horses. There is a bond that develops over time with equine - assisted therapy that is profound and natural . This bond helps with affection, assertiveness, confidence , empathy,self-control, responsibility, unconditional acceptance. This type of therapy is experiential and provides opportunities for metaphorical learning. Using metaphors , either in activities or discussion, is an effective technique for working with individuals. Non-verbal communication with a Horse helps clients better understand themselves and how they relate with others in the world. Equine-assisted therapy is psychodrama, which allows action to help heal the past, clarify the situation in the present, and help you envision a brighter future.

There are many people that have challenges that they struggle with. Although many people want to change, when they attempt to do it alone they do nto succeed. When issues involve others, we may ask friends and family for advice and although they have good intentions you may need an unbiased and trained guidance from a professional. I provide a supportive, confidential environment to assist you when facing life's various challenges. We can't continue to do the same things and expect different results ~ Paul Coelho

They say our greatest weakness lies in giving up! We have all been there. I decided that if life was going to be difficult, I would become its greatest “warrior” and teach others to do the same. Too often we use our armour to hide our inner selves, rather than see it as our strength which only comes from taking a risk, facing our fears, taking a step forward, and learning that every battle is won with wisdom. I am here to empower you to take that chance on yourself — your mind is a powerful force, but you are its master. Through various forms of therapy, one can explore different perspectives, coping skills, and motivators to establish better relationships; self-esteem and self-direction; deal with complicated family or couple dynamics; face a significant crisis or transition; manage substance use or addiction; and collaboratively make cognitive and behavioral changes to better emotional, mental, and even physical health!

Addiction and Mental Health struggles can be so isolating. Our minds tell us we are the only ones who feel this way, no one else could possibly understand. But the truth is you are not alone. Connection is how we break through the shame. Saying it out loud takes away the power of the illness to keep you sick. Let's talk about how to disrupt the pattern and to support you to living your best life.
