Dr. Abrielle Conway, Rooted in Grace Psychological Services

Psychologist, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist
I'm accepting telehealth (online) clients in most states via PSYPACT, an interjurisdictional practice compact which facilitates greater access to specialized care. I use a HIPAA compliant electronic health record in order to protect your privacy. We can meet anywhere you have privacy, feel safe to be yourself, and have a reliable internet connection. This often involves meeting in the comfort of your home, a (non-moving) vehicle, or your place of employment. I've found that online therapy allows increased flexibility/convenience and reduces time and resources spent driving to and from an office location. If you have questions about meeting via telehealth, I'm happy to answer them in our initial consultation.

Wake Forest, North Carolina therapist: Katherine E. Walker, counselor/therapist
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Katherine E. Walker

Counselor/Therapist, PhD, LCMHC, NCC
Safety during the current pandemic is paramount and my top priority to clients I serve. Due to public health concerns related to COVID-19, I am offering telehealth sessions via secure video platform. Both new and existing clients are welcome to contact me to schedule an appointment. I am also offering in-office appointments for new and current clients with increased safety measures. The idea of online therapy is a big adjustment for all of us, but during such incredibly stressful times, a healthy support system and treatment plan for managing stress and anxiety are now more important than ever. If you start via telehealth and are in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, or surrounding area, you will be able to shift to in-person appointments once we are able to convert back to in-office sessions or you can continue telehealth sessions if that is preferred. Please reach out if you would like more details and to schedule an appointment.

UCEBT clinicians provide quality mental health care to our clients both in-person and by using Telehealth sessions. The technology we use is HIPAA compliant to protect client’s privacy with options for sharing materials and sending secure messages. There is no special cameras or devices needed, simply having a smartphone or a computer with a camera allows clients access to their clinician.  Telepsychology interventions have been well studied and research supports its ability to improve access to treatment without compromising effectiveness.

Belmont, North Carolina therapist: Molly Halbrooks, counselor/therapist
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Molly Halbrooks

Counselor/Therapist, LMFT
Good therapy is a partnership between you and your therapist. If you're ready to finally figure out why you've been struggling and do something about it, then you bring the expertise on your own life, experiences, and needs, and I'll bring evidence-based training, clinical experience, and a safe space to hold your hardest moments. I have deep respect for the individuals I work with, and am consistently amazed by the level of vulnerability, insight, and growth they are able to achieve when we work together in this way. You are a unique individual with unique life experiences and I meet you right where you are and work with you to determine how to move forward as your healthiest, most fulfilled self. Most clients find virtual therapy to be the same or better than in person therapy. Virtual sessions allow you to easily work around your job commitments or childcare, and by eliminating the commute it is easier to find the time to have sessions. You have the convenience of working with a fully licensed, highly trained therapist in your home or office, and by using secure video chatting you are still able to maintain confidentiality and the visual experience of being in person. After the initial assessment, if virtual therapy is not the right fit for you, we will help you find an in-person option.
