Good therapy is a partnership between you and your therapist. I often work with those who have previously been in therapy and have felt stuck; my approach is active and helps you move beyond cognitive understanding to actually feeling better. You are a unique individual with unique life experiences and I meet you right where you are and work with you to determine how to move forward as your healthiest, most fulfilled self.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: Clients describe me as warm, non-judgmental, and direct. I create a safe space for you to process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and work to empower you to move from where you are today to where you want to be in your life.

- Online Therapy Details: I utilize Jane for secure video sessions. Most clients find virtual therapy to be the same or better than in person therapy. Virtual sessions allow you to easily work around your job commitments or childcare, and by eliminating the commute it is easier to find the time to have sessions. You have the convenience of working with a fully licensed, highly trained therapist in your home or office, and by using secure video chatting you are still able to maintain confidentiality and the visual experience of being in person.
