Everyone needs a place for advocacy and validation of feelings to be able to untangle and articulate those things which are not working in our lives. In addition to advocacy, you will also receive a safe space to unburden and have support and encouragement to not only illuminate your gifts and talents, but also to help differentiate emotions which are no longer serving you and empower goals for future Fulfillment. That starts with self compassion and being in the present and allowing space to leave each session feeling lighter with coping skills that can reduce heightened emotions and help direct back to self energy. With a background in teaching both elementary and high school and working in nonprofit organizations , seeing the need we all have for advocacy and compassion has greatly influenced my belief in the human spirit and our ability to heal. Why not live the life we have imagined and make it the best it can be?

Jessica Sellman
Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LCPC
My approach to therapy is rooted in relationship; my clients see growth and change as a result of the safety that they feel with me and the increased vulnerability that shines as a result. Although I specialize in trauma, I have a passion for working with grief and loss. It is often in the times that we feel the greatest pain that we are open to identifying new ways of seeing the world and how we can engage differently to get more out of life. I enjoy helping clients create narratives that fit, identifying strengths they did not realize they have, and often making meaning where there was once a sense of hopelessness. My clients have consistently reported increased engagement with life, noticeable rewards from their growth and a stronger sense of identity throughout their work with me. Although therapy takes work, it can also involve laughter and a sense that you are absolutely headed in the right direction.

I have been working with eating disorders clients, and their families, for over 25 years. I worked in both Inpatient units, partial hospitals and in private practice. Treating a client with their partner, and or their family is my strength. Understanding eating disorders irrational rules is a challenge.

Psychologist, PhD
Just being a human is challenging. A therapeutic relationship is one that creates a safe space to reflect on who you are and what you experience, learn to relate to those experiences differently, and empowers you to make choices about how you want to be. My work is to support you, build awareness and understanding, and ultimately to help guide you towards living a full, vital, and connected life - as you define it.
