The focus of the treatment is on empowering the client with an adaptive thinking style and more effective coping skills to deal with symptoms and the surrounding environment. The goal of the treatment is to the enhancement of well-being and improve experience of overall quality of life.

I actively engage with clients to reflect on their successes and challenges and rebuild their belief in their strengths and expand them further. I value a multicultural perspective and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds. The initial session is generally an intake assessment dedicated to understanding the case history/life story and for the purpose of diagnosis of the problem. Subsequently, treatment goals are collaboratively determined, and a treatment plan is tailored considering specific life situations, struggles, stressors, and personal strengths of the client.
