Male therapists in Timmins, Ontario ON, Canada CA
Nikita Yeryomenko
Psychologist, Ph.D., C. Psych.
I prefer a more active approach to therapy. Think of doing therapy as opposed to only talking therapy or listening therapy. While it is important to examine ways of thinking, to engage with our emotions, to examine our past and where we came from, changing how we act is what gives therapy the biggest bang for the buck. Listening, talking, and self-reflection will all be definitely involved, but expect take-home assignments. After all, outside of a therapist's office is where most of your life is happening.

Wise Path Therapy
Registered Psychotherapist, Joshua Ribalkin, MA, MA, RP
It is important that individuals feel they are in a safe space where they can explore new ways of thinking and dealing with challenges they encounter. Therapy involves being free to explore one's way of seeing the world, while also finding healthier and more productive ways of responding to what life throws at us . When an individual is open to it, therapy can also involve learning to live more presently.
