I believe it's important that that therapy offers a safe and supportive space - a place where people can explore new ways of thinking and dealing with challenges they encounter. It's also an opportunity to to reflect on how we see the word and begin to toward, more balanced effective ways of living. When someone is open to it, therapy can also be place for learning to live more presently, with greater awareness and clarity.

My approach is grounded in a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) existential and humanistic therapy and my mindfulness-based practices. I adapt my approach to fit each person's unique needs, goals and life experiences. Mindfulness has been an important part of my own life and I've seen first hand how it can help people be more grounded, self-aware, and resilient. I integrate mindfulness into therapy into therapy in practical, down-to-earth ways.
