Practice Description
I believe that under the right conditions, people heal and grow. Many of us have little experience with the kind of truly supportive relationship that makes this possible. A good therapy relationship allows us to be fully ourselves while recognizing our unique potential, and in this way creates the optimal conditions for healing. I provide a place where you can feel safe, and your most difficult feelings can be explored. My approach is especially helpful when you want to resolve grief and loss, heal childhood wounds, relieve depression and anxiety, improve communication, increase self-esteem and develop more satisfying relationships.
I work with individuals, couples, groups, and children using a relational gestalt therapy approach. I've practiced for 20 years, as an art therapist, as the director of a number of outpatient mental health centers, and in private practice with offices in both Westwood and Burbank. I am the current President of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Los Angeles.
