Life requires constant adjustment. For many of us, this makes life more challenging. Do you struggle with life adjustments, mood disorders, or anxiety? If so, I am here to help. As your therapist, I will give you a judgment-free environment where I will help you combat your negative thoughts and find a positive way to move in whatever direction life brings. I will empathetically challenge you to come out of your comfort zone and see the world from a new perspective. I will give you the tools to heal, transform, identify, and utilize your strengths to address everyday challenges. Equally, I will provide you with time to make those adjustments, as we all know there can be setbacks along the way, but that doesn’t have to stop us. Together, we will build a stronger community. One of my goals for you is that as I help you become a better version of yourself, you will be equipped to help those around you–creating a ripple effect of world-changing power.

Speaking from experience, therapy is a life changing process to create positive change by increasing understanding of self and identifying strategies that work! Having high value of trusting relationships I hope to create a safe, affirming, and supportive space for you to feel, express and grow as you work towards your goals. I specialize in working with children, teens and young adults with any academic or emotional challenges. I also work with adult women struggling with overwhelm, a lacking a sense of fulfillment, feelings of disconnection, or navigating life transitions, moving, motherhood and beyond. While personalizing my approach, I often use a strength-based focus, meaning we are looking at what you do well and approach growth from there! This will help as we dive deep into reflection, understanding and finding strategies that support you. I offer insight and resources to help you achieve your desired future of feeling successful, proud and more knowledgeable about yourself. Congratulations! The fact you are considering therapy, means you have already begun your journey to healing. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming or even scary, but I promise you will not regret starting. Our work together will help you accomplish positive change, more self awareness, develop life-skills and increase confidence, leading to a sense of greater joy and empowerment! Why wait?

Online therapy offers greater flexibility, wherein it is easy to put off attending therapy when therapeutic sessions are offered during limited office hours. Some individuals have a lot of commitments to juggle, so seeking out this form of support can be easy. Online therapy reduces wait times for seeing a licensed therapist. Some individuals taking time off from work to battle traffic while going to the therapist's office, wasting even more time in the waiting room, having the therapeutic session, and then battling traffic to return to work or home is also a huge deterrent to many individuals. Online therapy creates a safe environment, as a client may have feelings of anxiety while sitting in the waiting room. Attending a therapeutic session for the first time can be stressful. Still, online therapy helps alleviate this stressor by allowing clients to familiarize themselves with the process in the comfort of the individual’s own home.

Not all clients are ideal for telehealth services, and we can discuss whether or not telehealth services will work on a case by case basis, or given other extenuating circumstances (COVID-19 lockdowns, health concerns, inclement weather, etc). There are some potential risks with telehealth including a) at times the video image may be unclear or inadequate, b) a disruption in the connection may occur, or c) in rare circumstances, the information may be intercepted by unauthorized persons. When we are working via telehealth, sessions are not recorded unless that has been discussed beforehand. I would encourage you to take every precaution to preserve the confidentiality of our sessions, such as ensuring that calls are taken in a safe and secure location to the extent possible. At any time, you may decide to discontinue teletherapy sessions. I will refer you to a local mental health provider who can provide face-to-face services, or we can discuss transitioning our meetings to face-to-face instead.
