Approach Description
My approach to each client is based on their strengths. I use a variety of foundations to build on that. We look at how the past impacts you today and how overused and useless thought patterns keep you stuck. Mindfulness is central to my practice.

Practice Description
Life is hard, especially these days! But, that does not mean that we have to 'go it alone'. If we are lucky enough to have loving friends and family, sometimes they can help. But, they are not always unbiased. When we are in a bad place emotionally; i.e. loss of a relationship, job loss, general life stressors, fear, depression, anxiety and/or trauma (past or present), professional counseling can be a very good option.
I try to live the life I encourage in others. I listen well and participate in solution. I practice mindfulness and teach others the same. I am told I have a sense of humor. What is life without humor? My clients have taught me over the years what they need and I have passed that on.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to meet you. In the meantime, especially if this is your first attempt at counseling, whomever your choice.......
May Your Journey Be Gentle,
