Clients work best with someone they trust and feel comfortable with. One of the most consistent pieces of feedback I get is how easy it is to talk with me and they appreciate that I'm "real". I believe that a pinch of empathy and a dash of compassion makes the perfect recipe to provide you an accurate reflection needed to do meaningful therapy work.

We all have challenges that we need to face or over come in our lifetimes. Sometimes we benefit from that neutral and nonjudgemental person. I use evidence-based, practical, Cognitive Behavioral interventions and teach useable skills that help my clients navigate life's stressors more confidently.
I have additional and specialized training to work with individuals on trauma and sleep issues. Specifically, I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE), both are evidence-based treatments for PTSD. I also have advanced training in treatment of insomnia and sleep concerns (CBT-I). I also have additional training to help parents with some of the sleep concern that face their kiddos.
In my practice I also see couples and families. When we do this work together I draw from the Gottman's extensive body of work. We will talk about the skills necessary to improve your relationships across where you live and lead.
