Dr Aneliya Gonsard

Psychologist, DClinPscy, MSc, BA
Over the past few years online therapy has enabled a greater number of people to seek psychological support. If you are living in a remote area, where it is difficult or impossible to find a psychologist/psychotherapist; if these services are unaffordable where you live; or if you are in any way restricted in leaving your home in order to attend a face-to-face appointment, online therapy might be the right thing for you. I offer online consultations and on-going psychotherapy for individuals based anywhere in Europe (including the United Kingdom). I typically offer an initial meeting, or a set of appointments, in order to get to know you and your circumstances better. In some instances I might advise against online therapy - if you need adjacent psychiatric support; or the support of other healthcare professionals, which might necessitate a more integrated approach to your care and regular communication between those supporting you. If you are interested in accessing online therapy but you are still unsure whether it is the right thing for you - please get in touch so that we can discuss this together.

Therapist, MA, MSc, UKCP, MBACP
Although it's different to working in person, we can connect deeply and see great shifts when we work together online. It's possible to address not only thoughts and feelings, but patterns of communication and somatic (body related) aspects of therapy effectively and safely. While you may prefer to meet in person, the option to meet online via Zoom (or your preferred platform) means that if you feel drawn to working together you're not limited to being within travel distance of London. Online flexibility can also work beautifully if you travel regularly travel for work or personal reasons.

Sara Aicart-Pendlebury

Art Therapist, Human Givens Practitioner (HG.Dip.P), Member of Human Givens Institute, IFS therapist Levels 1&2, Narm Practitioner
I have been working online with remote distant clients since 2010. As soon as the Corona Virus lockdown hit us, I transferred all my existing clients to video conferencing, using a professional and secure telemedical package. Contact me here to discuss how we can work together to help you. I only charge per individual session: perhaps one or two sessions would be sufficient to get you back on track, or perhaps you would prefer longer support. There is not a one size fits all approach, but I promise to work together with you compassionately and non-judgementally to address what is getting in the way for you today.

Psychological therapy, online/videoconferencing As a psychotherapist with a doctorate, I have 25 years of experience in psychotherapy and now offer therapy also in the online counseling/therapy space. I have found this an effective alternative, due to the many benefits, including convenience, flexibility, and ease of access and offering a wider choice of therapist. I pursue a multimodal therapy approach and have extensive knowledge in dealing with psychological, social, family and professional problems. My specializations include, among others: • Stress management, coping strategies, and burnout prevention • Reactions to any stress, including relational, social, familial, personal, and professional • Anxiety disorders and related symptoms • Depressions and related challenges around mood • Challenges in professional life, especially during career changes and in leadership positions • Adjustment disorders, losses, separation, trauma, and other life changes • Problems in interpersonal relationships, partner and family challenges I prefer to work in a time-limited and collaborative way. Together we find ways for you to change some aspects in your life in sustainable ways. Please feel free to write to me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you. Chatting over tea about your relationships can be so very illuminating. Relationships are such a rewarding part of our lives, yet who hasn’t experienced annoyances when your relationship is not going well, Feelings of distress are common. We all try initially to sort out our problems ourselves, yet we are half of our relationship, it’s not easy to try new tools and styles. That’s where couples counselling can help. Offering help to quickly get to the core of your issues, and get started on a resolution that will ultimately lead you back to feeling in love and intimate again. Couples counselling is a very specialized field of therapy, and that is why tailoring sessions and approach is part of Therapy and Tea’s approach. Whether there’s been a critical incident in your relationship or your discontent has grown overtime, counselling can help. I have spent the last 20+ years helping many couples rediscover their happiness together after having lost their way, through effective relationship counselling. Most relationship issues can be reasonably resolved when you know how, but insight and guidance is very important.

Thanks to global telecommunications neither you or I are restricted to being in the same geographical proximity. And that is why I have clients all over the world via phone, Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp (and others by arrangement). I have been conducting online therapy sessions for over ten years now; it suits clients well: no need to travel; they are in their own space, there are no visual distractions and it's easy to focus.

Dr Grenville Major

Therapist, MBchB, MRCpsych, MSc psychological therapies
Most of my career I have worked face to face with patients and was skeptical that on line would be as good. I was converted. I have been working on line now since 2016 and find it has many advantages. Think about it this way: Sigmund Freud the father of therapy would lay the patient on a couch and sit where he couldn't be seen. He believed it gave the patient more psychological space to work in. Working on line has similar qualities.
