I became a therapist because I deeply believe in the power of being heard. So many people move through life feeling unseen, misunderstood, or emotionally alone — even in relationships. My goal is to create a space where you can show up fully, without judgment, and begin to untangle what feels heavy.
Whether you are navigating trauma, relationship strain, identity questions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I blend structured, evidence-based techniques with a relational approach that honors your story, your culture, and your values.
Healing is not linear. It’s layered. And you deserve support as you move through it.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
Approach Description: At Serene Minds Counseling Services, our approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. We believe healing happens in the context of safety, trust, and respect. Every client brings a unique cultural background, family system, belief structure, and lived experience into the therapy space — and these elements are not separate from the work; they are central to it.
As a practice serving the Inland Empire community, we understand the unique stressors that individuals and families in this region may face — including economic pressures, generational responsibilities, cultural expectations, community violence exposure, relationship strain, and the demands of balancing work, family, and personal growth. Our clinicians are committed to providing care that reflects the lived realities of the diverse communities throughout the Inland Empire.
We practice with cultural humility, recognizing that identity, race, ethnicity, faith, socioeconomic background, gender identity, and family dynamics shape how individuals experience stress, trauma, relationships, and mental health. We strive to create a space where clients feel safe exploring how cultural expectations, generational patterns, and systemic stressors influence their emotional well-being.
Our team integrates evidence-based modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, and emotion regulation strategies. We also provide psychoeducation to help clients better understand nervous system responses, triggers, and relational patterns.
Our work balances structure with warmth. We offer practical tools while also exploring deeper themes such as identity, belonging, grief, relational wounds, and self-worth. Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, we consider the broader context — how early experiences, family systems, and cultural messages influence present behaviors and beliefs.
We approach therapy with curiosity rather than judgment. Our goal is not to “fix” clients, but to help them gain clarity, increase self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their resilience.
Healing is not one-size-fits-all. It is personal, layered, and deeply influenced by the environments and communities that shape us. At Serene Minds, we are honored to serve the Inland Empire and to walk alongside our clients in every stage of their journey.
