Do you grapple with recurrent mental health struggles? Want to pursue self-improvement but aren't sure how to start? Have you been left feeling that no one taught you how to manage the stressors of life, let alone the stressors of trauma? As a therapist, I work with you not only to heal the pain that life has inflicted, but to discover the life you desire and equip you to live it to the fullest. I am a graduate counseling student with Lamar University currently obtaining their practical experience hours. I am unilaterally LGBTQ+ affirming, as is Vervewell. To me, it is the task of therapy to equip clients with the skills and tools they need for three key aspects of life: understanding themselves and what they want, changing negative and unhelpful thoughts into helpful ones, and gaining control over pain and other strong emotions. Using a combination of CBT, DBT, and SFBT, we will work both to heal and prepare. If you are ready to find the life you deserve and build a better future together, reach out for an appointment or consultation. I offer in-person and virtual appointments from our extremely cozy office in Fort Worth.

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
