My gentle, calm presence naturally creates a space where people can feel safe to feel truly seen, especially for those who have felt misunderstood for most of their lives. With both humility and courage, I offer insight and wisdom shaped by my professional training, as well as my personal journey through the loneliness and grief of navigating cultural identity and experiencing infertility.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: The therapy approaches I use all focus on helping you notice and understand your emotions, including how they show up in your body and how they impact your relationships. I believe lasting change happens when we work with emotions and physical responses alongside thoughts, all within the context of a safe and supportive relationship.
In particular, psychodynamic therapy helps you understand how early and formative experiences are still driving current patterns. Emotionally Focused Therapy encourages you access, name, and process your emotional experience more fully and productively. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy supports you in developing psychological flexibility and moving toward what matters most to you.

I believe therapy works when a client feels genuinely safe — not just intellectually safe, but emotionally safe. That safety comes from being seen. Not categorized, not given a diagnosis and a worksheet, but truly seen as a full person with a full story. I believe people don't just need to think differently — they need to understand why they feel the way they do, where that came from, and how to respond to themselves with compassion rather than criticism.
I also believe in the power of going deep. Quick fixes aren't what I offer, and it's not what my clients are looking for. They want to understand how the past is alive in the present — and they're willing to do the work to get there.
I hold the conviction that real change shows up in the body, in relationships, and in the way a person speaks to themselves on a hard day. Graduation from therapy looks like a client who can name their emotion, sit with it, and respond to it with gentleness — not someone who just has better coping strategies.
