Many people were never given the space to understand what they truly feel — taught early on to push past vulnerability and keep moving, often losing touch with their deeper needs, wants, and inner conflicts along the way. I work with individuals and couples alike, with a particular focus on those navigating conflict and communication struggles in their relationships, as well as those facing major life transitions — including postpartum mood challenges and midlife adjustments. Drawing on attachment-centered and trauma-informed approaches, we work on the foundations beneath your current struggles — ultimately opening up new ways of reacting, understanding, and relating to yourself and your past. Therapy offers choices, and while familiar patterns may feel safe, the goal is to give you the freedom to choose differently.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
Approach Description: My approach is rooted in relational, attachment-based therapy — a depth-oriented, trauma-informed way of working that honors the connection between your past experiences and your present struggles. Because no two people are alike, I take time to truly get to know you — your history, your needs, and what you most want from this work — so that we can shape our time together in a way that feels meaningful and personal to you. Therapy, at its best, is a collaborative process, and I am committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.

I work with individuals and couples at meaningful crossroads — including those navigating the transition into parenthood, early family life or midlife transitions. My specialties include depression and anxiety, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, women's issues, maternal mental health, postpartum mood disorders, perimenopause and menopause. For couples, I draw on the Developmental Model and EFT to help partners navigate conflict, deepen connection, and heal relational wounds. My approach is relational, attachment-based, and trauma-informed — because I believe healing happens in the context of a safe, trusting relationship.
