You might find yourself caught in cycles of self-doubt or feeling unsure how to move toward the life you want. Past experiences—such as trauma, relational pain, or unmet needs—can linger, shaping how you see yourself and make sense of the world. You may also notice a tendency to judge your emotions harshly, turning frustration or blame inward and carrying a quiet sense of loneliness or disconnection.
Whether you’re navigating life transitions, exploring identity, or longing for deeper connection in your relationships, I believe therapy can illuminate paths forward. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, supporting the growth of self-trust and opening possibilities for healing, meaning, and more authentic connection.

Treatment Approach
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My work is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from complementary theories to honor the whole of who you are. We may use attachment-focused exploration to understand how past relationships shape your patterns, somatic practices to connect more deeply with your body’s wisdom, or existential reflection to explore meaning and direction. Multicultural and feminist perspectives are also always present in how I view human suffering and healing. I’m also passionate about animal assisted therapy and the healing power of the human-animal connection.

I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, ease self-judgment, and feel more grounded and connected in their relationships. My counseling style is collaborative, affirming, and nonjudgmental, with a focus on helping you build self-trust and access your own inner strengths. Therapy can be a space where the focus is fully on you—an opportunity to explore new ways of relating to yourself and others, and to cultivate greater self-compassion, meaning, and fulfillment.
