The relationship between the therapist and the client is one of the most significant variables in determining someone's success in therapy - I keep this at the forefront of my practice, meeting you where you are and utilizing a very relational approach to help you meet your goals. I provide in office, telehealth and walk talk depending on what is most appropriate for the client and what you want. I see clients with a variety of concerns however some main areas of focus are: anxiety, life transitions (college, young professionals, parenthood, empty nester, etc.), trauma, and perinatal concerns (maternal mental health). I see clients across the lifespan however I do particularly enjoy working with college students, young and middle aged adults.

Treatment Approach
- Adlerian Therapy Focuses on understanding a person’s sense of belonging and purpose. It helps people overcome feelings of inferiority and create healthier relationships.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
Approach Description: I utilize a very person centered approach - building rapport and identifying goals with you as the client. I believe you know yourself best and I am honored to be able to come alongside my clients in their journeys towards healing and growth. I incorporate CBT practices in my work when needed, motivational interviewing, trauma work, mindfulness techniques, person-centered, and more. I incorporate walk-talk (therapy while walking outside) for those who are interested and would benefit from this. I work to create a very warm and relational atmosphere in session with all clients. I work with clients who want to engage in long term work as well as short term work. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client and am heavily invested in building positive rapport with all clients.
