I provide online therapy centered on personal growth and fulfillment. Recognizing that life's difficulties often prompt the search for a therapist, our work will address these immediate concerns while exploring the broader path to a meaningful life, uniquely defined by you. My approach integrates relational psychoanalysis, integral philosophy, and Eastern wisdom traditions, emphasizing mindfulness and compassion. I prioritize the present moment within our therapeutic relationship, using this focus as a means for reflection, insight, and transformation as we collaboratively create a space to understand the significant particular and universal experiences of your life.

  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Intersubjective Therapy Explores the shared emotional experience between therapist and client. It emphasizes connection and mutual understanding.
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
  • Self Psychology Explores the development of self-esteem and identity. It emphasizes the importance of empathy in healing.
  • Social Constructionist Therapy Looks at how social and cultural context shapes identity and problems. It helps clients create new narratives of meaning.
  • Transpersonal Therapy Integrates spirituality and higher states of consciousness with psychology. It encourages growth beyond the individual self.
Approach Description: My therapy practice is an integration of approaches from western and eastern worldviews sometimes described as integral psychology. The meeting format is a conversation. Talking about life in a directed inquiry informed by the wisdom traditions of psychoanalysis and supported by the mindfulness teachings. In both traditions compassion and empathy facilitate an enrichment of the listening space. I strive to proceed with curiosity supported by intellectual integrity and philosophical rigor to provide interventions that support healthy development. My therapy space aims to be feminist bringing awareness to the dynamics that inform social and cultural power in relationships at the intersection of our multiple identities. All communication in my practice is treated with respect acknowledging the vulnerability of people seeking to communicate about the their life experience in an intimate professional relationship.
