Together we get underneath the thoughts and the words so you can process what needs healing. I help you connect with your body, your emotions, and your intuition so you can metabolize and integrate your experiences and feel more free, more alive. Sometimes in your therapy we move slow and sometimes we move fast. Sometimes we laugh and sometimes we cry. The trust and safety we develop in the therapeutic relationship help you go wherever you need to go so you can feel more whole.

Approach Description: I primarily use an approach to therapy called "Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and I add Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) when it makes sense to. My use of AEDP specifically helps with healing from trauma. Experiences from the past that were too much to bear alone can be tenderly revisited and, by applying the latest neuroscience, we can quiet down the nervous system's response to the memories of trauma. I am also trained in the Gottman Method and I use this in conjunction with ketamine to help couples break unhealthy patterns and reconnect. I offer three tiers of financial therapy that focus on gaining clarity about monthly income and expenses (tier 1); a values-centered financial plan (tier 2); and an assessment of eight forms of "capital" through the lens of financial permaculture. My background in Ayurveda helps me to think holistically and to support lifestyles that align with the rhythm of nature.

It's hard to heal from the past if you feel alone. In therapy with me, I am really with you - there is no neutral gaze here. It's not uncommon for us to laugh, cry, and share some silence. You bring your expertise on yourself, your history, your personality, and I bring expertise on healing that integrates the mind, the body, and the emotions. My training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Financial Therapy, and the Gottman Method have given me a diverse toolbox to draw from.
Transformation is a key word for how I approach therapy. When we focus too much on being functional even you feel awful, we might be missing an important signal that something needs to change -- not that you need to adapt. Whether I am offering ketamine-assisted couples therapy intensives, AEDP for individuals, financial therapy or Ayurveda, I am supporting the deep longing for transformation in your life.
