I have the expertise to help clients find their way to a life that doesn't revolve around food, weight, and appearance. There is a path to recovery for every individual and I take the time to get to know each and every client and give them the personal care they need and deserve. It is important to me that my clients don't feel like a number, that each client feels seen, heard, and validated through the therapeutic process.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
Approach Description: For the past 20 years, I have been working with individuals struggling with Eating Disorders. My experience has given me the knowledge to help clients struggling with issues around food, weight, and appearance find the path to recovery. Rather than focusing on the causes of the disorder in the distant past, I use cognitive behavioral therapy to focus on the immediate conditions that are maintaining the eating disorder. I help clients break the unhealthy cycle of engaging in eating disorder behaviors to manage negative thoughts and intense emotions. Through education and individualized support, clients can learn new healthy coping skills to manage day-to-day life.
