If you've tried traditional therapy in the past and didn't get the results you wanted, you've come to the right place. I am trained in non-traditional, integrative and holistic methods and I have found that "just talking" is the slowest way to do therapy. My areas of expertise are addictions, trauma, and anxiety though I have lots of clients struggling with relationship conflicts, divorce, and loss of a loved one as well. My goals are to help clients gain insight, connect with themselves authentically, heal from past traumatic experiences, and live more fully in the present moment. Reaching out for help is a sign that you want a more meaningful life and know that you deserve it. I look forward to crossing paths with you when you are ready. I offer a free 30 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit so please contact me today to get started! I offer in-person sessions primarily and only do telehealth when in-person truly isn't an option. My experience is that telehealth has not been nearly as effective as in-person sessions for the type of therapy modalities I offer. I look forward to meeting you in person so I can best support you in achieving your goals.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I believe in the strength of the human spirit to continue to heal and grow regardless of how painful or challenging life has been. I see adversity as an opportunity for awakening and growth rather than victimization and stagnation. I primarily use Internal Family Systems as my general modality which can be applied to all sorts of issues and behaviors.

I am comfortable working with people age 18+ from all walks of life (especially LGBTQIA+ community) on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, addictions, relationship conflicts, separation/divorce, and grief. While my approach includes attachment based therapy, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, creative modalities such as art and writing, psycho-education, guided visualization, and yoga practices, I believe what clients need most is a safe, comfortable atmosphere, and a non-judgmental, compassionate therapist who listens intently. I also find light humor and maintaining a positive attitude to be extremely helpful overall. I see therapy as a collaborative process and I believe we all have inner wisdom and guidance that will help us through any challenge. I am currently accepting new clients and would love to hear from you! Please contact me to schedule your free 30 minute consultation and we will go from there.
