Welcome, and thank you for being here. Mindful Therapy Asheville is a psychotherapy practice offering individual therapy for adults in Asheville, North Carolina, as well as secure online therapy for clients throughout the state. My intention is to support healing through a calm, nonjudgmental, and compassionate therapeutic space—one where meaningful inner work and personal transformation can unfold at a pace that feels right for you. While I bring professional training and experience as a therapist, I approach this work with humility and care, viewing therapy as a collaborative process rather than a hierarchical one. I see myself as a supportive guide walking alongside you as you explore ways to meet life’s challenges with greater ease, self-understanding, and emotional balance.
My therapeutic approach is mindfulness-based and contemplative, informed by spiritual traditions while integrating evidence-based Western psychotherapy. A central framework in my work is Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a compassionate and non-pathologizing model that recognizes the many parts within each of us. IFS invites curiosity, self-compassion, and deeper awareness, helping individuals relate to their inner experiences with clarity and care. Alongside my clinical work, I remain committed to my own ongoing personal growth, and I bring that grounded presence into each session. Whether you are seeking in-person therapy in Asheville or online therapy from the comfort of your home, I welcome the opportunity to connect and explore whether this approach feels like a good fit.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
