I started Safe Space Counseling Services to create the kind of therapy environment I saw so many high-achieving adults needing ; one that feels both supportive and structured. Many of my clients appear strong and successful on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt. I provide online therapy across Massachusetts to help you slow down, build self-trust, and create healthier patterns that support long-term emotional balance.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My therapeutic approach is collaborative, structured, and culturally responsive. I primarily integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while incorporating Compassion-Focused and Emotionally Focused techniques to address shame, self-criticism, and attachment patterns at a deeper level.
For many high-achieving adults, anxiety and burnout are rooted in internal pressure and early relational experiences. Together, we explore both the practical tools needed for day-to-day coping and the emotional patterns that drive them. I use motivational interviewing to support clarity and forward movement, while maintaining a person-centered foundation so you feel heard, respected, and understood.
My goal is not just symptom relief, but lasting change ; building emotional resilience, self-trust, and healthier relational dynamics in a way that honors your cultural background and lived experiences.

Safe Space Counseling Services was created with a clear mission: to offer thoughtful, culturally responsive online therapy for adults who feel overwhelmed by pressure, responsibility, and constant self-expectation. As a therapist, I noticed that many high-achieving individuals were navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and emotional exhaustion without a space to truly process what they were carrying. I founded this practice to provide a space where clients feel both deeply supported and guided with intention.
My work focuses on anxiety, self-esteem, relationship stress, and major life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) combined with a collaborative, insight-oriented style to help clients understand the “why” behind their patterns while developing practical tools for change. Therapy here is not just about talking — it’s about building clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience.
As someone with Caribbean roots, I also understand how culture, family expectations, and generational roles can shape emotional well-being. Safe Space Counseling Services honors identity while helping clients move toward lives that feel authentic, balanced, and aligned.
Through virtual therapy across Massachusetts, I help clients move beyond survival mode into a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and sustainable.
