I am an integrative psychotherapist, registered with the BACP, which means that I have training in multiple ways of working, and can combine them to create a unique way of working with you. My background is in psychology, and I’ve worked with both young people (16+) and adults across a wide range of mental health challenges, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction and trauma. My approach is trauma-informed and anti-pathologising. Whether you have a diagnosis or not, we will move at a pace that feels right for you, taking time to understand what it’s like to live in your body, your relationships, and your world. I am passionate about this work, and thoroughly believe we all deserve a chance to find a more unburdened way of living. I like to take into account the environment we live in, which includes both the early environments of the family, and then later influences such as friends, school, workplace and the wider societal structures and pressures that can contribute, often without us even being aware. Through our work together we can start to understand how your inner and outer world are influencing each other. Having an initial call is the best way to get to know each other a bit and to see if we can connect - having a good relationship with your therapist is the most important thing.
