I provide trauma-informed counseling for teens and adults in Fort Worth and throughout Texas who are working through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-doubt, and painful life experiences. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward, even though they are doing their best to keep everything together.
My approach is warm, collaborative, honest, and grounded in Existential-Humanistic, Person-Centered, and trauma-focused counseling. I believe therapy should be a place where you can feel seen, supported, and accepted without judgment. Together, we will explore what has shaped you, what is keeping you stuck, and what kind of life you want to create moving forward.
As a Marine Corps veteran and former coach, I bring a deep respect for resilience, courage, discipline, and the effort it takes to keep going when life feels heavy. My goal is to help you rebuild confidence, strengthen self-trust, reconnect with your values, and take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and a more grounded and authentic life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, supervised by Jacqueline Maye, LPC-S.

Treatment Approach
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
Approach Description: My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that people are more than what has happened to them. I draw from Existential-Humanistic, Person-Centered, trauma-focused, mindfulness-based, and CBT-informed counseling to help teens and adults better understand themselves, process painful experiences, and move toward greater confidence, clarity, and emotional grounding.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel seen, respected, and accepted without judgment. Rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to explore what has shaped them, what patterns may be keeping them stuck, and what values, strengths, and choices can help them move forward.
When appropriate, I also incorporate Humanistic Sandtray Therapy and expressive interventions to help clients access insight, meaning, and emotional processing in a different way than traditional talk therapy alone. My goal is to create a space where clients can feel supported while building self-trust, resilience, and a stronger connection to the life they want to create.
