Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Sandplay Therapy Uses sand trays and miniature figures to allow symbolic expression. It is especially helpful for children and trauma survivors.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.

I offer a thoughtful, relational approach to therapy for adults, children, and teens who want to grow and be challenged. If you're like many others who feel stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unseen and have recognized the patterns of thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve your life, then I can help you. Many of the people I work with struggle with self-doubt, trauma, people-pleasing, or relationship dynamics that leave them feeling disconnected from themselves and others. My therapy practice is a place to slow down, make sense of these experiences, and begin relating to yourself with greater clarity and self-compassion.
My work is trauma-informed and integrates attachment-based, psychodynamic, CBT, and DBT-informed care practices. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, I help clients understand the root of their patterns and past experiences, and how these have shaped their current coping mechanisms. Change will be meaningful and lasting. Our sessions are collaborative, paced, and responsive to each client's individualized needs.
I strive to create a calm, supportive space where you feel respected, understood, and not judged. You don't need to have everything figured out to begin. Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety, healing from trauma, or deeper emotional security in your relationships, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater steadiness and intention.
