I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt, Adlerian, and Solution-Focused approaches to support clients in pursuing goals that are meaningful and aligned with their values. I view therapy as a team effort and strive to show up as a clinician who works alongside you, honoring the whole person rather than focusing on isolated parts or symptoms. My style is relaxed, genuine, honest, and collaborative, with an emphasis on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. I am always open to clients' feedback on what they want to work on in session, giving them agency. As a former Division I rugby player, I bring a strong appreciation for positive sports psychology and am especially passionate about supporting athletes in the Chicagoland area as they navigate performance pressures, identity, transitions, and overall mental wellness.

Treatment Approach

  • Adlerian Therapy Focuses on understanding a person’s sense of belonging and purpose. It helps people overcome feelings of inferiority and create healthier relationships.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Play Therapy Uses toys, games, and creative play to help children express emotions. It is especially useful when children can’t fully verbalize their feelings.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt, Adlerian, and Solution-Focused therapies to support clients in reaching goals aligned with their values. I am a clinician who will be on your team and will adhere to you as a whole, not just parts of you. My style is relaxed, genuine, and collaborative. One of my biggest goals when working with clients is to meet you, the client, where you are in session to foster an effective therapeutic relationship. As a former student-athlete, I’m also passionate about helping athletes in the Chicagoland area care for their mental health and overall wellness.
