We are passionate about walking alongside teens and adults who feel consumed by an eating disorder, discouraged by body image struggles, or mentally drained from OCD and anxiety. Many of our clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. In addition to eating disorder treatment, we also offer specialized services for OCD, anxiety disorders and trauma, recognizing how often these experiences overlap. I also have focused experience in maternal mental health and supporting women through seasons of transition. You do not have to navigate this alone — sustainable healing is within reach. As the founder of Recovered & Restored, my mission is to help adolescents and adults experience true freedom with food and develop a more peaceful, compassionate relationship with their bodies. Treating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other forms of disordered eating is deeply meaningful work to me. Our practice also provides evidence-based care for anxiety, OCD, and trauma, addressing the underlying roots that often fuel symptoms. It has been an incredible privilege to support many individuals in reclaiming their lives from eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, and trauma. As my team and I are personally recovered, we carry both clinical training and lived hope into this work. Recovery is possible for you, too. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out by phone or email to learn more about how we can support you.

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Brainspotting A therapy that uses eye positions to access and process unresolved trauma. It helps release emotional and physical pain held in the body.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: We are evidence based, highly relational, harm reduction and use a compassionate social justice lens.

Therapy Sessions Gabrielle A. Morreale / Recovered and Restored Practice Description
Recovered & Restored Eating Disorder Therapy Center is a specialized therapy practice dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders and related mental health concerns. Recovery from an eating disorder can feel overwhelming, isolating, and intimidating — but at Recovered & Restored, you are met with compassion, expertise, and unwavering belief that healing is possible. The team’s focus is singular: helping clients move from being controlled by disordered eating to reclaiming their lives with confidence, resilience, and peace of mind. At the heart of the practice is a deep commitment to meeting clients where they are. Whether someone has lived with an eating disorder for years or is just beginning to feel ready for support, the clinicians at Recovered & Restored provide individualized care that recognizes each person’s unique story. Services are offered through secure, HIPAA-compliant online therapy, allowing clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, Connecticut, Vermont, and South Carolina to access specialized treatment from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Comprehensive, Evidence-Based Eating Disorder Services Eating disorder therapy is the cornerstone of the practice — and it’s the only thing the team focuses on. This dedicated emphasis means that therapists continually deepen their knowledge, refine their clinical skills, and stay informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices. Treatment is compassionate yet rooted in proven therapeutic approaches that empower clients to confront and overcome the patterns that have been holding them back. Core services include: Individual Eating Disorder Therapy: Personalized care for those navigating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, and other disordered eating patterns. Nutrition Counseling: Collaboration with dietitians who guide clients toward breaking free from diet culture and building a balanced relationship with food. Meal Coaching: Supportive accountability through real-time encouragement around food, helping clients build confidence with eating. Support Groups: Weekly virtual groups provide connection, encouragement, and shared understanding among peers. Parent & Family Coaching: Evidence-based guidance for loved ones to better understand and support someone’s recovery journey. Beyond eating disorder-specific treatment, Recovered & Restored also offers trauma-informed therapy and specialized EMDR services, recognizing how past wounds can intersect with disordered eating patterns and mental health symptoms. Anxiety, OCD, and More In addition to eating disorder care, the practice extends help to those dealing with anxiety disorders, OCD, and trauma, understanding that these conditions often co-occur and contribute to the complexity of someone’s experience. Therapists use evidence-based modalities such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and other tailored approaches to help clients find relief and build adaptive coping skills. While rooted in clinical expertise, the practice maintains a compassionate, person-centered stance that honors dignity, autonomy, and personal growth. Whether working with teens navigating identity and body image, adults reshaping long-held beliefs about food and self-worth, college students adjusting to life transitions, or mothers facing the dual challenge of maternal mental health and disordered eating — the team is equipped to listen deeply and treat holistically. Access & Philosophy of Care Recovered & Restored does not currently accept insurance, but the team is committed to helping clients navigate out-of-network reimbursement through superbills and transparent fee information. Virtual therapy expands access to specialized care across multiple states and reduces common barriers such as travel, scheduling challenges, and limited local resources. Every session is delivered with intention, warmth, and respect — whether over video or as part of a group setting. A Supportive Community, Not Just a Practice Choosing therapy with Recovered & Restored means joining a team that truly sees you, believes in your potential for recovery, and celebrates every step forward. Clients and their families frequently share that the practice feels like a supportive community where healing unfolds at a sustainable pace and with deep encouragement. For anyone seeking relief from eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, or OCD — and the freedom to build a life that feels truly restored — Recovered & Restored offers dedicated, expert care that honors your journey and supports your growth
