I am a Master’s-qualified Creative Arts Therapist and Professional Member of ANZACATA, practising through In the Making in Wagga Wagga. My work centres on hands-on artmaking in a steady, consent-aware space where autonomy and choice are respected. If you are looking for a 1:1 creative process that moves at your pace and welcomes neurodivergent ways of being, I invite you to make an enquiry.

Treatment Approach

  • Art Therapy Uses creative activities like drawing, painting, or sculpture as a way to express emotions. It is especially helpful when words are hard to find.
  • Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
  • Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Intersubjective Therapy Explores the shared emotional experience between therapist and client. It emphasizes connection and mutual understanding.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Sandplay Therapy Uses sand trays and miniature figures to allow symbolic expression. It is especially helpful for children and trauma survivors.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and non-directive. I welcome neurodivergent ways of being without pressure to mask, perform, or conform. I work alongside the person rather than directing the process, responding to what is present with attention to pace, capacity, and consent. Creative processes are central. There is no expectation to explain experiences or work toward predetermined outcomes. Autonomy is supported through choice of materials, pacing, and participation, allowing sessions to unfold in a way that feels sustainable and respectful.
