You may be tired of overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or feeling like everyday challenges take more energy than they should. Maybe you know what you want to change but struggle to figure out how to get there. Therapy can help you understand what's keeping you stuck, build practical skills, and start approaching life with greater confidence and flexibility. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes that last.
Client Focus
Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Senior, Teen, Young Adult
Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
Approach Description: My approach is warm, collaborative, and action-oriented. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP) to help you understand patterns that keep you stuck and develop new ways of responding to difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations. We'll work together to identify what matters most to you, build skills you can use outside of sessions, and turn what you learn in therapy into meaningful changes in your everyday life.
